Moving a slider or knob on the midi controllers to the maximum value will yield a value of 75%, 85%, 95%, or a variety of other maximum values in the assigned "Sixteen Macros" knob. Within the max device, values observed by attaching a print object to the output of the Knob GUI will vary between 0.8349... and 1.0 when the controlling midi knob/fader is at maximum. When the same knob/fader is assigned to a standard Ableton parameter (like volume) the response is stable and consistent, ie. an ableton volume fader will always hit +6.0db every time the controlling fader/knob is at its maximum.
